Job Title: Senior Architect – Real Estate & Construction Location: Mumbai / Mumbai Metropolitan Region Experience : 10–12 Years Industry : Construction / Real Estate Employment Type : Full-Time About Lotus Group of Companies Lotus Group of Companies is a growing real estate developer engaged in the development of premium residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects in Mumbai. We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural planning, design coordination, statutory approvals, and project execution. Position Summary The Senior Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, coordinating, and delivering architectural solutions from design development through project completion while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, budgets, and timelines. Key Responsibilities · Lead architectural planning and design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. · Develop concept designs, schematic layouts, working drawings, and construction documentation. · Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and external consultants. · Ensure compliance with Development Control and Promotion Regulations (DCPR), National Building Code of India (NBC), Fire, Environmental, and other statutory requirements. · Liaise with authorities and consultants for approvals, sanctions, and clearances. · Review drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and technical submissions. · Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to approved drawings. · Resolve technical and design issues during project execution. · Coordinate with Project Management, Contracts, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams. · Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines. · Mentor junior architects and design team members. Qualifications · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) · Registered with the Council of Architecture (COA). Experience · 10–12 years of post-qualification experience. · Experience with reputed real estate developers or construction companies is preferred. · Proven experience in residential, commercial, redevelopment, and high-rise projects. Required Skills · Strong design and technical detailing skills. · Sound knowledge of DCPR, NBC, fire and statutory regulations. · Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM, Photoshop, and MS Office. · Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership abilities. · Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Preferred Candidate · Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously. · Strong liaison and authority coordination skills. · Ability to work under tight timelines and manage cross-functional teams.
