Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring fee collections, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll processing. The role will involve preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Accountant will coordinate with school administration, external auditors, and vendors to maintain accurate financial records and support efficient financial decision-making. Qualifications - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger management. - Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and analysis. - Ability to manage invoicing, billing, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. - Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. - Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with administrative staff, vendors, and auditors. - Experience in the education sector or service-oriented organizations is an advantage. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
