Creative Director

Role Purpose

The Creative Director is the driving force behind creative excellence at InnerGroup —shaping a vision that inspires, elevates, and scales world-class, omni-channel creative output across the business. This is a role for a deeply craft-led creative with a strong foundation in art direction, a sharp eye, and an obsession with the details that make work exceptional.

As a hands-on leader, you will guide high-performing, multi-disciplinary offshore teams to deliver work that resonates across diverse global geographies (Americas, Europe, and APAC), ensuring that global brand integrity is matched with localized cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Stewardship & Output Quality

• Define, champion, and evolve a compelling creative vision that aligns with global industry standards.
• Set clear benchmarks for excellence across all digital, social, content, video and print disciplines.
• Foster a culture where high quality, attention to detail, creative integrity, and pride in the work are non-negotiable.
• Bridge the gap between global brand expectations and offshore execution, ensuring all outputs are culturally nuanced for international markets.
• Stay attuned to emerging trends and technologies—translating them into scalable creative opportunities.

2. Client Partnership & Strategy

• Act as a trusted senior creative advisor across accounts.
• Partner closely with Client and Growth teams to deepen client relationships and unlock new value.
• Present concepts and creative work to global stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and conviction
• Lead workshops and innovation sessions that unlock new thinking and direction.

3. Commercial Growth & New Business

• Play a leading role in global pitches, RFP responses, and growth initiatives alongside the Growth team
• Identify and create proactive opportunities to expand existing client relationships.

4. Workflow Innovation & Future Capability

• Collaborate with Product and Innovation teams to embed AI-enabled workflows and automation into creative pipelines to drive efficiency.

5. Talent Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and grow Associate Creative Directors (ACDs) and the broader creative team in India.
• Instil a strong culture of continuous feedback and upskilling
• Build the global business acumen of the local creative team, training them on international market trends and platform best practices.

Skills and Experience

• Proven track record of collaborating with global brands and international stakeholders
• 15+ years’ experience across creative, advertising, or marketing environments.
• Proven track record within a global creative production agency or an offshore delivery setup.
• Strong art direction background with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and omni-channel campaign execution.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams while staying close to the work.
• Deep passion for visual storytelling, craft, as well as a taste for impactful copywriting.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative workflows, asset automation, and dynamic creative optimization (DCO).
