Senior CAD Automotive Engineer – SolidWorks (Motorcycle Design)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior CAD Automotive Engineer (Solidworks) to create and optimize accurate 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing. You will collaborate with Design, Tooling, and Manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs using GD&T and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles. Experience Level: Mid-Level (4+ Years) with experience in motorcycle for Senior CAD Automobile Engineer in Solidworks. What is expected out of you? As a part of this Job - Design and develop motorcycle components and assemblies using SolidWorks. - Create and maintain accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs. - Perform design modifications based on Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO). - Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles. - Collaborate with Design, CAE, Manufacturing, Tooling, Quality, and Supplier teams. - Participate in concept development, prototype builds, design reviews, and product validation. - Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications. - Support cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain engineering documentation and PLM data. Requirements: Must to have Skills: - 4+ years of hands-on experience in a dedicated CAD or Design Engineering role. - Expert proficiency CAD platform (SolidWorks) - Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and manufacturing processes (Injection Molding, CNC, Casting). - Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex simulation data and translate findings into design improvements. Good to Have: - Knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and PPAP. - Exposure to CAE tools such as ANSYS or HyperMesh. - Experience working with global OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers. - Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. - Familiarity with Agile product development.
