Senior Events Manager – Conversions

Role Overview: This role will lead all student-facing conversion and engagement initiatives designed to enhance the prospective student journey and improve enrolment outcomes. We are looking for an experienced events professional with 10+ years of experience who can independently conceptualise, plan, and deliver premium brand experiences while managing multiple stakeholders and large-scale event operations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Open Houses, Campus Experience Days, Faculty Masterclasses, Offer Holder Events, Coffee Meetups, Student Engagement Programs, and other conversion-focused initiatives. - Conceptualise innovative event formats and experiential engagement ideas that improve prospective student participation and conversion. - Develop event strategies aligned with business objectives and admissions goals. - Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, University Leadership, Faculty, Academic Teams, and external partners for seamless event delivery. - Own event budgets, forecasting, commercial negotiations, vendor management, procurement, and financial reconciliation. - Manage creative agencies, production partners, fabrication vendors, and venue partners to ensure premium execution standards. - Drive project planning, execution timelines, risk assessment, contingency planning, and quality control across all events. - Analyse event performance, attendee feedback, conversion metrics, and ROI to optimise future programs. - Establish and standardise event SOPs, checklists, reporting frameworks, and best practices across campuses. - Mentor junior team members and provide operational guidance during high-impact events. - Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative engagement formats that enhance the overall brand experience. - Ensure all events consistently reflect brand guidelines and deliver a world-class experience for students, parents, and university stakeholders. Experience & Qualifications - 10–12 years of relevant experience in Events, Brand Marketing, Marketing Communications, ATL & BTL Activations, Experiential Marketing, or Event Management. - Proven experience in conceptualising and delivering large-scale customer engagement, brand, or conversion-focused events. - Strong expertise in strategic event planning, stakeholder management, agency management, budgeting, commercial negotiations, and team coordination. - Experience in the higher education sector will be an added advantage. - Postgraduate degree is mandatory. - A Degree or Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Brand Management, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or any related discipline will be an added advantage. Additional Requirements - Should be willing to travel extensively based on business and event requirements, including weekends, whenever required. - Must be comfortable managing on-ground event operations across multiple cities and handling tight execution timelines. - The location specified for each role is non-negotiable. Applicants should be currently based in Bengaluru or be willing to relocate before joining. - Candidates should possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. - A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
