Senior ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview :

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will serve as the technical architect and primary executor for complex enterprise-wide service management solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, business process owners, and global delivery teams to translate intricate business requirements into scalable, high-performance ServiceNow applications. Your daily contributions will involve architecting robust workflows, overseeing platform integrations, and ensuring the seamless delivery of digital transformation initiatives. By driving technical excellence and platform stability, you will directly influence operational efficiency, enhance user experience, and deliver measurable business value across the organizations digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and modules, to streamline business processes and improve service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.

- Lead the technical integration of ServiceNow with third-party enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers to ensure data integrity and seamless cross-platform communication.

- Conduct comprehensive code reviews and performance tuning to maintain high system availability and ensure that all developments adhere to industry best practices and security standards.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance during complex troubleshooting sessions to foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with product owners to refine technical roadmaps, ensuring that platform enhancements align with long-term business objectives and scalability requirements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated mastery in ServiceNow development, including advanced scripting (JavaScript, Jelly, Glide APIs), Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.

- Proven ability to architect complex workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub, coupled with a deep understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical complexities into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of managing large-scale platform upgrades and resolving critical production incidents in high-pressure environments.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a professional demeanor that thrives in a distributed, remote-first work environment.

- Ability to maintain high levels of productivity and self-management while collaborating across different time zones and cultural contexts.
