Product Architect - SQL Server

We are looking for an experienced Product Architect with 18+ years of IT experience, including 10+ years of hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server development and database architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design and optimization of database solutions, drive technical architecture decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-performance, scalable product solutions. Experience in the US Healthcare Payer domain is preferred.

Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the database architecture for enterprise products.

- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexes.

- Perform SQL query optimization, profiling, and performance tuning.

- Analyse and resolve database performance, data integrity, and application issues.

- Design and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance.

- Collaborate with development teams to deliver end-to-end database solutions.

- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Prepare and maintain database documentation, including stored procedure mapping documents.

- Integrate database solutions with third-party applications and APIs.

- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.

- Identify opportunities to improve product performance and business processes.

- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and database modifications.

Skills :

- 18+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

- 10+ years of hands-on SQL development experience.

- Strong expertise in T-SQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexes.

- Experience in database design, data modelling, and schema optimization.

- Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and SQL profiling.

- Experience troubleshooting database and application performance issues.

- Understanding of product architecture and enterprise application design.

- Experience integrating third-party APIs with SQL-based applications.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience conducting technical design reviews and code reviews.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Preferred : Experience in the US Healthcare Payer domain.
