Logistics Manager

Position: Manager - Logistics, warehouse management, Production Planning and Dispatch

Qualification: Degree /Diploma in Supply Chain Management

Experience: 10 years of experience in the field of Logistics, Warehouse& Production Planning, Dispatch in a manufacturing unit.

Reporting to: Plant Head

Location: Plant at Boisar, Dist-Palghar

Skills Required:

· Proficient in using computer(Tally 9 &Microsoft office)

Job Description:

· Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and product specification

· Develop production plan, budget and timeliness according to production specifications.

· Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.

· Responsible to determine Materials, manpower required to complete production targets.

· Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.

· Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.

· Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.

· Coordinate with sales, Production, Purchase, Stores and HR departments.

· Planning and managing Dispatches, logistics, transportation, customer service Shipment process.

· Maintain the FG stock and Warehouse arrangements.

. Control and supervise stock movements (receipts, storage and dispatches), Stock accounting and reconciliation as per SOP.

· Ensure proper storage, preservation of finished goods and maintain.

· Ensure proper loading and unloading of vehicles / consignments

· Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers

· Maintain packing material stock as per the production planning and purchase order process.

· Preparation of Export documents to execute the orders.

· Preparation of MIS reports of Stock, Finished Goods, chemicals, packaging material etc.

· Data collection and documentation of 3rd party inspection bodies for getting the certificates.

· Responsible for developing, documenting and improving logistics initiatives in timely manner.

· Ensure timely and daily dispatch of export finished products to the customers in coordination with the Production and Marketing departments with the correct labels and documents

· Maintain manpower discipline in the department, through better inter-personal / relationship, training and development.

· Impart training to Supervisors/workmen as per their needs.

· Demonstrate leadership skills, set priorities, provide guidance, solve problems to inspire the team to perform their optimum utilization.

· Experience of working on Tally 9, Microsoft office (word/excel/power point etc.)
