Ping Architect

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Ping Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority, bridging the gap between complex security requirements and scalable architecture to ensure seamless, secure authentication experiences for our global user base.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, security stakeholders, and business leaders to translate high-level security mandates into robust technical roadmaps. By driving the evolution of our identity ecosystem, you will directly influence the security posture and operational efficiency of our digital infrastructure, ensuring that our authentication frameworks remain resilient against emerging threats while providing frictionless access to critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy complex PingFederate and PingAccess solutions to provide secure, scalable Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities across diverse enterprise environments.

- Design advanced authentication workflows using OAuth, OIDC, and SAML protocols to ensure secure interoperability between internal systems and third-party cloud services.

- Integrate Ping identity stacks with Azure AD and legacy LDAP directories to create a unified, hybrid identity fabric that supports modern business agility.

- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IAM projects, from initial requirement gathering and architectural design to final production rollout and post-implementation optimization.

- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff by establishing best practices for identity governance, code quality, and security compliance to elevate the teams overall technical maturity.

- Troubleshoot high-priority production issues by performing deep-dive analysis into authentication flows and protocol handshakes to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated mastery in designing and managing PingFederate and PingAccess environments within large-scale, high-traffic enterprise infrastructures.

- Proven ability to architect secure identity solutions utilizing OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and WS-Federation protocols to solve complex access management challenges.

- Strong proficiency in Java development, enabling the creation of custom adapters, plugins, and extensions to meet unique business requirements.

- Extensive experience in managing directory services, specifically LDAP, and integrating them with cloud-based identity providers like Azure.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security architectures to non-technical stakeholders and influence executive decision-making.

- A collaborative mindset with a track record of working effectively in hybrid work environments across Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Chennai.

- A minimum of 8 - 15 years of professional experience in the IAM domain, backed by a solid educational foundation in Computer Science or a related technical field.
