Communications Specialist

The Communication Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the product, sales, and communications initiatives of the Global Asset Class Specialists (GACS). The primary objective of this role is to ensure seamless execution of internal and external investment campaigns and communications activities.

Product recommendations and thematic ideas for investment campaigns are disseminated over multiple channels and a core responsibility of this role involves the creation, collation, dissemination and updating of these materials. Mainly, the incumbent will be involved with tasks around the efforts to promote Company Structured Products capabilities internally and externally by supporting with public distribution campaigns and sponsorship and collaboration agreements, but also in the planning and delivery of Investment Campaigns (Market Outlook and additional campaigns) and promotion of Podcasts and Webcasts.

In addition, he/she will be closely involved in delivering of emergency communication in case of severe market movements as well as support with administrative tasks the planning of global events like Alpha Conferences.

The candidate will further support the Fund marketing team to manage the creation, publishing, and update of after-sales fund marketing materials.

To be successful in the role, the incumbent will need to develop strong and highly effective relationship with the CIO, research, investment advisory and GACS teams. The incumbent will need to be task oriented with a keen eye for detail and be able to independently drive the tasks and deliver results. The incumbent also needs to focus continuously on process improvements to deliver the tasks and drive efficiency.

The role reports to Head of Investment Communications based in Zurich.

RESPONSIBILITIES

People Management

• Work collaboratively with the GACs teams, and colleagues from Research, CIO, Investment Advisory, Regional Business Development and Marketing teams.

Client Management (internal)

• Structured Products campaigns: Support with the delivery of Structured Products quarterly campaigns by adapting the content to fit on different promotion platforms, writing promotional texts in different lengths while making sure that it meets the legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements
• Sponsorship and collaboration agreements: fulfil all internal processes to approve sponsorship agreements where client engages with third parties to showcase our capabilities and expertise.
• Creation and design: Adapt investment content and present complex information in a clear and engaging way across various formats.
• Campaign implementation on client internal tools: RM mailing, spotlight pages, intranet news, banners and digital screens
• Campaign distribution via marketing automation tool: Distributing to clients leveraging our marketing automation tool (BSI).
• Fund Marketing Materials: Manage creation, publishing, and ongoing updates of investor presentations, fund materials, product pages, and marketing content using various tools including Censhare and BSI.

• Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements
• Adhere to all relevant Local User Manuals
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

YOUR PROFILE

Professional and Technical

• Solid writing skills, UX writing is a plus
• Solid knowledge of investment products especially Structured Products
• Proficiency in Desktop applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of BSI (or other marketing automation tools) and digital marketing is a plus.
• Represent the Bank’s and shareholders’ interests at all times
• Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and sound understanding of global investment industry, markets and products
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English (native level)
