Zuora Lead/Architect - Salesforce CPQ

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Zuora Lead/Architect to spearhead our complex billing and revenue management initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical authority, bridging the gap between intricate business requirements and scalable technical solutions within the Zuora ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales operations, and finance stakeholders, to design and implement robust CPQ and billing architectures. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of our revenue lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration between CRM platforms and financial systems to drive accurate reporting, automated billing, and enhanced customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect end-to-end solutions for complex subscription billing models by leveraging Zuoras core capabilities to ensure financial accuracy and operational scalability.

- Lead the integration strategy between Salesforce CPQ and Zuora to streamline the quote-to-cash process, reducing manual intervention and improving sales velocity.

- Oversee the configuration and customization of Zuora Revenue and Billing modules to align with global accounting standards and internal business policies.

- Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance during the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.

- Partner with finance and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot complex revenue recognition issues and optimize system performance for high-volume transaction environments.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-grade Zuora solutions, with a deep understanding of subscription management, rating engines, and revenue recognition workflows.

- Proven ability to architect seamless integrations between Salesforce CRM and Zuora, ensuring data integrity and synchronization across the lead-to-cash pipeline.

- Strong analytical mindset to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, coupled with the ability to communicate these concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing technical projects and guiding cross-functional teams through complex system migrations or implementations.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a professional demeanor suitable for a high-impact, collaborative environment.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work model, maintaining high productivity and clear communication across distributed teams in Bangalore and Chennai.
