We are hiring - QA Executive/Jr. QA Executive
Purpose of the position:
- Supervise and coordinate all Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished goods meet quality standards.
- Support the maintenance of the factory's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
Main Responsibilities:
QC Operations Management
- Co-ordinating shift QC operations by monitoring QC sampling, in-process inspection, product verification, and quality issue.
- Manage QC staffing, task allocation, and product/material disposition, including customer joint inspections when required.
- Supervise container hygiene and condition checks prior to shipment.
Supporting Laboratory Operations
- Support laboratory activities including sample preparation, testing, data recording, equipment calibration/maintenance, and 5S.
- Maintain testing accuracy, record integrity, and adequate laboratory supplies.
Quality Management System (QMS) & Documentation
- Manage daily documentation approval and archiving.
- Monitor QC team adherence to SOPs from raw materials to finished goods
Product, Process & Specification Compliance
- Monitor product and process compliance with specifications, HACCP checkpoints (CCP), and regulatory/customer requirements; provide timely feedback to Production.
- Conduct trend analysis of deviations, non-conformities, complaints, and testing results to support corrective and preventive actions.
- Support investigation of quality issues and customer complaints, providing data for root-cause analysis and improvement actions.
GMP, Hygiene & Food Safety Oversight
- Monitor GMP, sanitation, pest control, and environmental hygiene (ILT, rodent traps, cleaning points) in assigned areas; raise and follow up corrective actions
- Supervise QC and lab technicians in maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized working areas
- Perform CCP checks and support factory food safety system implementation.
- Support basic food safety and QC-related training for operators and QC team members
CAPA & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in investigations of internal non-conformities, audit findings, and quality issue
- Follow up corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Lean.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support overall business objectives.
Education: At least college's degree in food science, food technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of working experience in same role.
- Understand HACCP/ BRC/ IFS/ FSSC 22000/ HALAL/ Kosher or relevant systems.
Other skills required for the job:
- Able to communicate, read & write in English.
- Good at Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
