ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – FINANCE

Job description

Financial Reporting: Responsible for preparing and presenting financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements reports, and summaries to management, investors, and regulatory authorities.

Working Capital Management: Payables /Creditors and Receivables /Debtors management. To control and monitor Bank borrowings for smoother cash in/outflows. Responsible for reduction of Interest rates and repayment of borrowings.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Handle budgeting process, helping to set financial goals and projections for the organization. To monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.

Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with tax laws and regulations, and they may be involved in tax planning to minimize tax liabilities. File tax returns, both for income taxes and other applicable taxes

Audit Preparation: Preparing for and coordinating external audits.To work closely with auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to assess the organization's financial health and performance and continuous evaluation of profitability, liquidity, and solvency, and making recommendations for improvement.

Financial/ Cost Strategy: Collaborating with senior management to develop financial /cost strategies. To implement necessary Cost control measures and align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Risk Management: Assessing financial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them is crucial.

Responsible for managing financial derivatives, insurance policies, and other risk management tools
