Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate organizations, recruiters, and industry partners to generate placement and internship opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute campus recruitment drives, pre-placement talks, assessments, group discussions, and interviews.
  • Identify and onboard new recruiters across various industry sectors.
  • Work closely with academic departments to understand student competencies and placement requirements.
  • Facilitate internship opportunities and industry engagement initiatives for students.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between recruiters, students, faculty, and university stakeholders.
  • Monitor student participation and placement progress and provide necessary guidance.
  • Maintain placement records, recruiter databases, and placement statistics.
  • Prepare periodic reports on placement performance, recruiter engagement, and hiring trends.
  • Organize networking events, career fairs, and employer engagement activities to enhance placement outcomes.
  • Ensure a positive recruitment experience for employers and students throughout the placement process.
  • Support the university's efforts to improve graduate employability and strengthen industry partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in campus placements, corporate relations, recruitment, talent acquisition, or career services.
  • Experience in the higher education sector is preferred.
