Software Developer - Java

About the Role :

The role of a Software Developer - Java involves designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development. Immediate Joiners preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test software applications using Java and Spring Boot

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and perform log analysis to identify root causes

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes

Minimum Qualification :

- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology with minimum marks of 70% or CGPA 7.0 (on a scale of 10) from a reputed institution.

Essential Skillset :

- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

- Proficiency in version control tools.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture, OOAD, design patterns, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ, or equivalent).

- Familiarity with basic CI/CD concepts.

- Experience in debugging and log analysis.

- Good command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).

Desirable Skillset :

- Knowledge of SDLC, UML, and software quality practices.

Experience :

- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Java.
