Job Description: Mobility Support Engineer (Workspace ONE / Zebra / Samsung)

Position Summary: The Mobility Support Engineer provides operational support and engineering assistance for enterprise mobility across retail and non-retail environments. This role focuses on Workspace ONE (MDM) administration and troubleshooting, supporting Zebra and Samsung devices at scale, and enabling smooth deployments and rollouts through automation and disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobility incidents, service requests, and problem management across stores, distribution centers (DCs), fulfillment centers, and corporate offices.

- Administer and troubleshoot Workspace ONE UEM: enrollment, profiles, compliance, policies, applications, OS updates, certificates, and device restrictions.

- Support large-scale device deployments/rollouts, including staging, provisioning, migration activities, and hypercare support for retail and office locations.

- Assist with automation of deployment and support tasks (e.g., scripting, workflow improvements, standardized runbooks).

- Perform design and build tasks for mobility initiatives, including packaging/deployment approaches, policy design, and operational handoff documentation.

- Support and troubleshoot a diverse fleet including:

1. Zebra handhelds (e.g., TC-series), mobile printers, tablets, and peripherals (wearables/scanners as applicable)

2. Samsung phones and tablets (carrier-enabled for field/truck operations)

3. Limited Apple iOS/iPadOS devices for executive users

- Partner with identity and security teams to support authentication and identity integrations, including Ping and DaVinci workflows.

- Maintain accurate documentation, knowledge articles, and operational reporting; identify recurring issues and drive root-cause remediation.

- Work independently with minimal supervision while balancing multiple active priorities and meeting service targets.

Required Qualifications (Must Have):

- Hands-on experience supporting mobility in retail and non-retail environments.

- Strong experience with Workspace ONE UEM configuration and troubleshooting.

- Strong experience supporting Zebra hardware (TC devices) and peripherals (mobile printers/tablets; wearables a plus).

- Working knowledge of Android Enterprise mobility concepts (profiles, work-managed devices, app deployment, compliance).

- Proven ability to support rollouts and execute tasks with minimal supervision.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

- Knowledge of Samsung Knox Experience supporting Samsung carrier-enabled phones/tablets in operational environments.

- Familiarity with identity/authentication integrations (Ping and DaVinci workflows).

- Limited support experience with Apple devices in executive/VIP contexts.

Priority Skills for This Role:

- Workspace ONE + Zebra device experience (most critical).

- Strong troubleshooting and operational execution in high-volume environments.
