Group Head - Creative Content

Experience Required:

7-8 years as a copy lead (non-technical) from a creative agency.

Role Overview:

The Group Head – Creative Content leads the creative vision for assigned brands, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strong, effective campaigns. They manage and mentor the social media and copy team, supporting their growth while ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery. The role involves hands-on contribution to ideation, strategy and writing, working alongside both content and art team to maintain quality and efficiency. They take ownership of campaigns from concept to execution, combining strategic thinking with strong digital storytelling skills while leading and collaborating actively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the Creative Director in maintaining the overall creative vision while translating briefs into strong, effective creative output aligned with brand objectives.
• Leads ideation and develops innovative social media content for brands
• Lead from the front. Mentor, collaborate and contribute hands-on when needed by the copy and content strategy team.
• Owns end-to-end execution of multiple campaigns, ensuring timelines, quality, and budgets are met, while seeking necessary approvals before delivery.
• Collaborates closely with clients and internal stakeholders, participating in strategic creative discussions, presentations, and ensuring seamless alignment across teams.
• Plays a key role in new business pitches by contributing ideas and representing the team’s creative capabilities.
• Works cross-functionally to improve creative output, drive efficiency, and uphold agency values, contributing to overall team culture and performance.
• Exposure to sports social media content and campaigns will be an added advantage.

• Have exceptional communication, writing and listening skills
• Takes full ownership of work and drives the same sense of accountability within the team.
• Strategic bent of mind with a tendency to think of ROI and creative at the same time.
• Experience working with Meta Suite, MS Word, MS Excel, Basic AI tools. Established presentation skills.
• Ability to visualize the big picture and passionate about executing it.
• A sharp thinker and proactive doer who can navigate ambiguity and make things happen.

Qualifications:

Education: B.A. in Creative Writing, Communication Arts, or equivalent.
