Role Description This full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role is based in Mumbai and focuses on managing and strengthening client relationships, particularly with architects, interior designers, and key decision-makers. The Relationship Manager will handle day-to-day architects communication, understand project requirements, provide product recommendations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality installation. Responsibilities include maintaining client accounts, resolving service issues, supporting after-sales follow-up, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling wallcovering & furnishings solutions. The role also involves attending client meetings, industry events, and presentations to promote MARSHALLS WALLCOVERINGS and support long-term business growth. Qualifications - Strong client relationship management, account management, and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships. - Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact confidently with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders. - Basic knowledge of interior design or décor products, with the ability to understand client requirements and suggest suitable wallcovering solutions. - Organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple client projects, follow up on deliveries and installations, and ensure timely issue resolution. - Sales and negotiation abilities, including identifying new business opportunities, supporting business development, and achieving relationship-based targets. - Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, and after-sales service. - Prior experience in client-facing roles in interiors, building materials, or related industries is an advantage. - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field preferred.
