Summary: As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves designing, configuring, customizing, and supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration and digital workplace solutions to meet evolving business needs. This role focuses on delivering scalable and user-centric solutions across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva, Copilot, and related Microsoft 365 services. The engineer is responsible for managing application capabilities, driving platform adoption, overseeing release cycles, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and governance. The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to implement innovative digital workplace experiences that enhance employee productivity and engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft 365 collaboration and digital workplace solutions.

Drive adoption and optimization of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva, and related Microsoft 365 services.Oversee application lifecycle management, release planning, and platform governance activities.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Mentor junior team members and promote best practices across development and administration activities.

Coordinate with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience, platform performance, and operational efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365), SharePoint Online Development, SPFx (SharePoint Framework), Microsoft Teams, and Low-Code/No-Code Solution Development.

Good To Have Skills: Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Viva Development, Microsoft Azure Services, OneDrive for Business (ODB), UX/UI Design, Microsoft Graph API, and Third-Party Collaboration Platforms such as Workvivo, Miro, Mentimeter, and SurveyGizmo.Strong experience in designing, customizing, and extending SharePoint Online solutions using both out-of-the-box capabilities and custom development approaches.Experience in building and deploying SPFx-based web parts, extensions, and modern workplace solutions.Familiarity with Microsoft Teams application integrations and collaborative workspace implementations.Experience leveraging Power Platform technologies for workflow automation, forms, and business process solutions.Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services supporting Microsoft 365 integrations, authentication, APIs, and enterprise application development.Understanding of Microsoft Viva and Copilot capabilities to improve employee engagement and productivity.Experience integrating Microsoft 365 platforms with third-party collaboration and employee experience applications.Ability to work with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph APIs, and low-code/no-code platforms to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.Experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, governance, security compliance, and platform administration within Microsoft 365 environments.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Development.- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
