About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EHS Expert to join our Support & Maintenance team, working on Syensqo HSE applications. The role involves enhancing SAP EHS solutions, supporting key regulatory processes, and ensuring smooth business operations across global environments.

You will collaborate with IT teams, product managers, and HSE experts to design system improvements, write functional specifications, analyze business needs, and support end-to-end implementation of EHS solutions. This role requires strong expertise in SAP EHS modules and functional understanding of chemical industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, enhance, and optimize SAP EHS applications to ensure performance, stability, and compliance.

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, bugs, and EHS application issues.

Write functional specifications and collaborate with developers for customization and enhancements.

Test, validate, and document all development and configuration changes.

Work closely with product managers and HSE specialists to analyze business needs and design efficient EHS solutions.

Act as a Project Member or Project Manager during the implementation of new applications or enhancements.

Support core EHS processes such as :

Product Safety

SDS Authoring & Distribution

Dangerous Goods Management

Global Label Management

SVT (Substance Volume Tracking)

SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern)

PCN (Poison Control Notification)

Contribute to regulatory and compliance-related processes for the chemical industry.

Must-Have Skills

Strong, hands-on expertise in SAP EHS :

Product Safety

SVT

SVHC

PCN

3E Integration

Deep knowledge of SAP EHS Expert Rules (setup, modification, configuration).

Experience with SAP BW structures and EHS reporting.

Strong understanding of SPRO configuration for SAP EHS.

Ability to execute and analyze ABAP programs for functional troubleshooting.

Proven experience supporting EHS processes in regulated industry environments.

➕ Additional Valuable Skills

Exposure to Process Safety, Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, and Industrial Hygiene.

Experience with Global Label Management (GLM) and S / 4HANA Product Compliance .

Familiarity with IDocs, ALE, and interfacing tools .

Understanding of chemical industry regulations and compliance processes.

Language Requirement

Fluent English (written and spoken).

Additional languages are a plus.
