A Well Known Automobile company engaged in manufactures Handtools, Forging Parts and Leafsprings. Located at Aurangabad (Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar), Maharashtra, India

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Aurangabad for the position of Group Purchase Head. The primary responsibilities are as follows :

  • Develop & implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure timely procurement
  • Identify, evaluate & manage suppliers & subcontractors based on quality & delivery
  • Collaborate with production, design and quality team to align material requirement
  • Monitor inventory levels & develop a system to maintain optimum stock
  • Vendor development
  • Cost saving approach with quality consciousness

Qualifications

  • BE-Mechanical
  • In-depth knowledge of forging materials, grades and specifications
  • Excellent negotiation
  • Leadership & team management
  • Vendor management skills
