Manager – Operations (Inspection)

Experience : 6 to 10 Years

Locations : Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad

Industry : Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind)

About the Role :

We are hiring a Manager – Operations (Inspection) to oversee and streamline inspection and quality operations in renewable energy projects , specifically solar and wind energy . The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in QA / QC , project execution , vendor and stakeholder management , and team leadership , with mandatory experience in solar and wind energy projects .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead inspection operations for solar and wind energy projects (across manufacturing, installation, commissioning stages).
  • Ensure implementation and compliance of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols.
  • Supervise and optimize manpower allocation across multiple project sites.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to maintain quality and delivery standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders (internal teams, clients, consultants) for project coordination and issue resolution.
  • Maintain detailed reporting of inspection progress , project timelines, and quality status.
  • Drive adherence to industry best practices, safety standards, and renewable energy regulations .
  • Support continuous improvement in processes, team performance, and inspection efficiency.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy preferred).
  • Experience : 6 to 10 years in QA / QC, inspection, or operations in renewable energy (solar and wind mandatory).
  • Technical Expertise :
  • In-depth understanding of solar PV systems and wind turbine components.
  • Familiarity with national and international QA / QC standards for renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in inspection tools, checklists, and documentation.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Additional :
  • Willingness to travel to project and vendor sites frequently.
  • Exposure to utility-scale or large rooftop solar / wind projects preferred.
