Control-M Administrator
- Expertise in Configuration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of Control-M.
- Hands-on experience in installing, upgrading, and configuring Control-M version 9.x or higher.
- Collaborate with application owners, developers, and production support to define job scheduling based on business requirements.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and system enhancements as necessary to keep the environment up to date.
- Implement complex scheduling requirements and setting up Control-M calendars.
- Maintain Control-M / EM, Control-M / Servers, and agents in on-premise and cloud environments.
- Administer all the Control-M system components to work seamlessly.
- Sound knowledge of Control-M modules / Application plugins and APIs.
- Plan, implement, and participate in Disaster Recovery exercises.
- Implement change tasks and incidents in the support queues and drive problems to resolution within SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis of problems encountered.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) for automation tasks (Preferred).
- BMC Control-M Administration Training / Certification / Accreditation (Preferred).
- Work in a 24 / 7 environment with on-call rotation.
