AWS Cloud Engineer

Talent Worx is looking for a proficient AWS Cloud Engineer . In this role, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions that align with our organizational objectives. You will leverage your expertise in AWS technologies to build scalable, secure, and robust cloud architectures, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure according to best practices.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up CI / CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows.
  • Conduct cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Stay updated on AWS features and industry trends to continually innovate and improve our cloud practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, NAT, VPN).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI / CD tools, and practices.
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
