Manager - SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary

RTX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in India as part of the Best Cost Location (BCL) initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, with specific expertise in HCL iMRO and SAP Fiori. The role focuses on supporting the sustaining / depot area, contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the sustaining and depot areas.
• Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work with HCL iMRO development team to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.
• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Sustain area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
• Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
• Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.
