Automation Test Engineer – Playwright Power Apps

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for Dynamics 365 Middleware applications Microsoft web applications API and UI automation scenarios

• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright (.NET/).

• Execute automated test suites through Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Identify automation candidates and maintain automation backlog aligned to project priorities.

• Improve automation stability reduce flaky tests and optimize execution efficiency.

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and reporting dashboards.

• Collaborate with development and functional teams to improve testability and automation coverage.

• Maintain automation source code repositories and reusable libraries.

• Perform automation code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and quality gates.

• Generate automation execution reports coverage metrics and trend analysis.

• Support AI-assisted test generation and GitHub Copilot for Testing initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in automation testing.

• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Automation UI and API automation Test framework development Regression automation

• Experience in automation strategy and scalable framework implementation.

• Expertise in Playwright (.NET or ) Azure DevOps (ADO) Azure Pipelines Git/GitHub EasyRepro (preferred) Power Apps Test Studio (preferred)

• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong coding experience in JavaScript / TypeScript C# .NET ecosystem (preferred)

• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Good stakeholder communication and reporting skills.

• Experience with GitHub Copilot for Testing or AI-assisted automation.

• Exposure to D365 CE/F&O automation.

• Knowledge of accessibility automation and API testing frameworks.

Qualifications :

Educational qualification:

• BE BTech BCA BSc (IT) MCA MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
