Senior Java Developer - Microservices Architecture

Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Developer based in Bangalore, you will serve as a technical anchor within our engineering team, architecting and scaling robust backend systems that power our core product offerings.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, system architects, and cross-functional engineering squads to translate complex business requirements into high-performance, maintainable code.

By leveraging your deep technical expertise, you will directly influence the scalability of our platform, ensuring seamless experiences for our global user base and driving significant improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to enhance system performance and support rapid feature deployment for our end users.

- Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure to optimize infrastructure costs and improve the availability of critical business applications.

- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence and maintain high standards of software craftsmanship across the team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues by performing deep-dive root cause analysis, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal service continuity for stakeholders.

- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to automate deployment pipelines, accelerating the delivery cycle and improving the overall quality of software releases.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in building enterprise-grade applications using Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem, with a focus on clean, modular, and testable code.

- Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage distributed systems within the Azure cloud environment, utilizing services like Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, or Event Hubs.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional decision-making.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment that values autonomy and collaborative ownership.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle software development.
