Endur Developer - Energy Trading Domain

Position : Endur Developer Energy Trading

Experience : 6 to 12 Years

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid Minimum 3 Days Work From Office)

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Preferred

About the Role :

We are looking for experienced Endur Developers to join a strategic Energy Trading transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a Greenfield, cloud-hosted Endur implementation and contribute across the complete project lifecycle from design and development to implementation and production support.

The role offers an opportunity to work alongside highly skilled energy trading professionals and business SMEs, helping build next-generation ETRM solutions while expanding your expertise in Endur and commodity trading systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with Development Leads, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Design and develop scalable solutions based on functional and technical requirements.

- Build and enhance solutions within Endur/energy trading platforms.

- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, UAT, and production support.

- Diagnose and resolve issues in business-critical production applications.

- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Core Java and SQL.

- Contribute to Agile project delivery and CI/CD practices.

- Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing.

- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.

- Drive innovative approaches for solving complex trading and operational challenges.

Required Skills & Experience :

1. Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.

- Good understanding of :

1. Design Patterns

2. SOLID Principles

3. JUnit

4. Test-Driven Development (TDD)

- Strong SQL knowledge.

- Experience in developing enterprise-grade applications.

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.

- Understanding of Azure Cloud is an added advantage.

2. Energy Trading Domain Experience (Mandatory) :

Strong understanding of energy trading markets with exposure to :

1. European Gas markets

2. Gas networks and balancing

3. Scheduling and transportation

4. Capacity management

5. Pricing, Position, P&L, and Exposure Management

3. Trading Instruments Knowledge :

- OTC Transactions :

1. Forwards

2. Storage

3. Swing Deals

4. Swaps

5. Simple Options

- Exchange-traded futures and options lifecycle.

- Cascading concepts.

4. ETRM/CTRM Experience (Preferred) :

- Experience working on ETRM/CTRM platforms.

- Endur/Openlink experience is highly preferred.

- Experience in :

1. Endur Plugin Development

2. JVS (Java Scripting in OpenLink Endur)

3. Open Components (OC)

- Candidates with strong energy trading application experience but without Endur exposure are also encouraged to apply.
