Board Support Package Validation Engineer - Embedded Testing

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute BSP validation test plans for embedded platforms.

- Validate Linux boot flow, Boot ROM, and Secure Boot functionality.

- Develop and maintain Python-based automation using the Pytest framework.

- Perform hardware debugging using JTAG and Serial Console.

- Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and validate fixes.

- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and software teams to ensure product quality.

- Work with Git for version control and code management.

Required Skills:

- 48 years of experience in Embedded Software Validation.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with the Pytest framework.

- Experience in BSP Validation and Linux Boot Flow.

- Knowledge of Boot ROM and Secure Boot.

- Hardware debugging using JTAG and Serial Console.

- Strong Linux environment knowledge.

- Experience with Git.

Good to Have:

- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

- Emulation/Simulation platforms

- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing

- Power, Thermal, and Voltage Validation

- pytest-html reporting
