Senior Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with minimum 3 year to maximum 6 years with skill set such as GL Accountant, Record to Report, Journal Entries, Bank reconciliation, Prepaid Expenses, Intercompany Accounting, US GAAP and General Ledger.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

You Will:

• Participate in month-end close processes, such as preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform analytics over financial results to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements
• Reconcile cash transactions on a daily basis in Netsuite
• Review daily credit card transactions in Brex to ensure proper GL coding
• Perform Blackline administrative tasks to ensure roles and responsibilities are appropriately assigned to the correct team members
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues as they occur in a timely manner
• Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly reviews, annual audit, and SOX compliance.

You Are:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting domain
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Able to apply knowledge of US GAAP, with a general understanding of SOX
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines; able to multitask
• Confidence, good judgment, self-motivated, energy and personality to work in a fast-paced environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies

Location: Chennai ; Locality - Vandalur
Shift: Night shift
Transportation: One-way cab facility (drop) is provided
