Role : Principal Engineer

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Engineer with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spring Boot and PostgreSQL, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in the insurance domain. Knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and experience with Postman or API testing tools is highly desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Utilize JIRA for project management and issue tracking.

- Use Bitbucket for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.

- Conduct API testing using Postman or other API testing tools.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.

- Proficiency in using Postman or other API testing tools.

- Team Handling Experience is required.

- Should be good in module delivery.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in the insurance domain.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
