The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive who can take ownership of the receivables process ensuring timely collections and clean reconciliations. The ideal candidate will act as the financial backbone between our field operations and finance team driving cash flow efficiency while enabling smooth business operations. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize AR systems and processes in a fast-growing Agri-tech startup
  

• Manage end-to-end AR processes
  

• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments delayed payments & other irregularities
  

• Coordinate with internal teams and field staff to identify and track payment status from farmers Partners/CSR & government partners
  

• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of receivables
  

• Reconcile the AR ledger and ensure clean books and compliance with internal financial policies and external statutory requirements
  

• Follow up on pending invoices generate collection reports and escalate long-outstanding cases
  

• Assist in implementation of AR automation tools or ERP improvements
  

• Support monthly closing by providing accurate AR data and aging schedules
  

Ideal Candidate

Must-Haves

• Semi Qualified CA / Bachelors Degree in Accounting/ Finance/Commerce
  

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control
  

• Excellent Excel and reconciliation skills
  

• Strong communication skills and Verbal Skills for coordination with internal/external stakeholders
  

• High attention to detail and ownership mindset
  

• Ability to work independently and take ownership
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in a startup or agri/impact sector
  

• Exposure to GST subsidy-related documentation or receivables in government-linked programs
  

• Working knowledge of AR dashboards or reporting tools
  

• Familiarity with field-level operations and payment flows
