About the Role: The role involves identifying product pipeline opportunities, evaluating new product opportunities, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful product development and portfolio management.

Qualifications: MBA/M Pharm

Responsibilities:

• Identify product pipeline of both short term (launch horizon 3 years) and mid-term (3-5 years) pipeline / portfolio opportunities, shape the portfolio strategy for Orbicular and prepare product summaries for the early evaluation stages.
• Identify and evaluate new product opportunities in the North America and other key international markets for Generic and 505B2 portfolio, develop and prepare forecasts, business plans and financial justifications for proposed new product development in co-development and out-licensing model opportunities.
• To ensure that the internal database used to collect data inputs is up to date and contains accurate information and to work with other team members to collect other inputs such as data exclusivity, initial patent information, initial technical feasibility evaluation and to prepare materials for portfolio review by management.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to follow up on actions from the portfolio review so all issues are resolved for the final decision-making.
• To assist with the Monthly Portfolio review process and induction meetings for new product introductions in the R&D.
• To research intelligence databases (internal and external) including but not limited to various methodologies (primary and secondary research) and databases IQVIA, import/export, Global data, clinical trials data and closely track competitor companies and generate monthly review of their activities and implications for Orbicular using relevant research and databases.
• Identify and monitor progress of potential products while in Phase II and Phase III clinical trials for addition to pipeline.
• Generate monthly reports summarizing key events including new approvals, NDA/ANDA filings, PIV listings, new launches, Life-cycle management activities by Brand for key Orbicular products, Insights from EXIM data and its impact on Orbicular's commercial and pipeline portfolio.
• As required, assist in portfolio reviews for geographic portfolio expansion exercise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Deep US generic market knowledge for drug substance and products.
• Good communication and presentation skills with ability and mindset to own the activity and task at hand.
• Superior analytical skills and firm strategic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Generic and 505B2 -based drug products.
• Team player who is comfortable working autonomously and in a growth oriented organization with an attitude to hustle across multiple deliverables.
• Strong working skills on Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
• Ability to create quick dashboards is an added advantage.
