Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Job Description :

We are hiring for a Data Scientist role for our client, a technology company.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable business insights.

- Design, build, and validate machine learning models to solve business problems.

- Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and performance evaluation.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production.

- Communicate findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.

- Stay current with the latest ML/AI techniques and apply them where relevant.

- Design experiments (A/B tests) to validate hypotheses.

- Document methodologies and maintain reproducible analysis pipelines.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).

- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.

- Experience building and evaluating ML models (regression, classification, clustering).

- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.

- Experience with data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI).

- Understanding of model deployment and MLOps basics.

- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have :

- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch).

- Exposure to cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker/Azure ML).

- Knowledge of NLP or computer vision.
