About the Role: TukTuki is looking for a creative, analytical and execution-focused Social Media Manager (YouTube) to lead and grow our YouTube presence. The role will primarily focus on YouTube Shorts and long-form content , while also supporting content distribution across Instagram, Moj, Josh and ShareChat. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for content planning, publishing, optimisation, audience engagement, performance analysis and coordination with editors and designers. Key Responsibilities Create and manage monthly and weekly content calendars for YouTube Shorts, long-form videos, trailers, teasers, podcasts and promotional content. Ensure the next month’s content calendar is prepared and approved before the current month ends. Upload, schedule and publish videos on YouTube. Optimise titles, descriptions, hashtags, thumbnails, playlists, end screens, cards and calls to action. Develop content strategies to improve views, watch time, audience retention, engagement and subscriber growth. Coordinate with video editors, designers, writers and production teams to ensure content is delivered on time. Create clear briefs for thumbnails, Shorts, promotional edits and community posts. Analyse YouTube Studio data, including impressions, click-through rate, watch time, retention, traffic sources, subscriber growth and returning viewers. Identify high-performing formats, hooks, titles, thumbnails, characters and content themes. Track links, app-download campaigns and attributed social-media conversions. Manage YouTube comments and community posts while maintaining TukTuki’s brand tone. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommended actions. Maintain accurate content and performance data in the central social-media tracker. Ensure that no content is published without the required approvals. Support publishing and content strategy across other social-media platforms when required. Required Skills and Experience 2–5 years of experience in social media management, YouTube management or digital content marketing. Strong working knowledge of YouTube Studio and YouTube Analytics. Experience managing YouTube Shorts and long-form content. Good understanding of thumbnails, titles, audience retention, watch time and YouTube SEO. Ability to interpret performance data and convert it into actionable content recommendations. Strong content-planning and project-management skills. Experience coordinating with designers, editors, writers and production teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English. Ability to write engaging Hinglish titles, captions and calls to action. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Understanding of copyright, platform guidelines and brand compliance. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with entertainment, OTT, micro-drama, podcast or creator-led content. Understanding of Hindi-speaking Tier-2 and Tier-3 digital audiences. Basic video-editing or thumbnail-review knowledge. Experience with Google Sheets, Canva, Meta Business Suite and social-media dashboards. Experience supporting influencer campaigns or branded-content integrations.
