India

In line with our continuous growth strategy, Mainfreight has recently established its Indian operation via first branch opening in Mumbai as India HQ in the year 2023 and further expanded its operations in Chennai and Delhi. We operate in 3 location and supported by 35 team Members in India.

To support our business expansion, we are currently seeking a qualified professionals for the position of Manager – Talent Development. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered as Asst Manager – Talent Development.

Office Location: Marol, Mumbai

Profile:

As a key part of the team for India, the role will be driving strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. The role is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation support, statutory compliance, HR operations, Training & Development and employee engagement while partnering with business leaders to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage End to End recruitment in collaboration with stakeholders and onboarding.

· Oversee the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.

· Drive performance management and employee development initiatives.

· Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and engagement activities.

· Coordinate payroll inputs, compensation, and benefits administration.

· Maintain policies, HRMS, employee records, and documentation.

· Partner with business leaders to support organizational goals and workforce planning.

· Identify training needs and plan coordinate and deliver learning & development initiatives for employees and ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee growth.

· Lead the team building events across the offices.

· Oversee office administration including facility management, housekeeping, office maintenance and administrative support to ensure smooth day to day operations.

What we are looking for:

Candidate must possess a Graduate Degree or MBA/PGDM in HR field.

Someone who has understanding of freight/transportation/ warehouse business.

Knowledge of Keka system (HRMS) will be added advantage / if not the candidate should be adaptable or have solid work experience of working other related platforms.

Desired experience – Manager around 7-10 years as HR Generalist or HRBP. Candidates with lesser experience will be consider as Asst Manager position.

Required Language(s): English and local languages preferred but not mandatory.

Attention to detail with the ability to assess priorities

Team Player with initiative and good human relations skills

Customer oriented, good follow up, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
