NAV India - Python Developer - FastAPI/Django

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong experience in building scalable backend applications and microservices.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in Python, cloud-native development, containerization, and CI/CD, along with the ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.

- Design secure, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Perform code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.

- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

- 6-10 years of experience in Python backend development.

- Strong expertise in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.

- Experience working with Git and Agile development methodologies.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Exposure to C#/.NET Core is an advantage.

- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools.

- Prior experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.
