Position Summary:
The position plays a pivotal role in growing organization and collaborates closely with Director Supply Chain. Position is
responsible for managing the commercial Supply Chain activities.
Position will lead Planning Order Management Imports Warehousing and Logistics functions.
Manage inventory levels and operational expenses to stated departmental objectives. This position will act as the primary
point of contact for the Factory Manager and will be SAP super user.
Requires managing cross functional relationship with Sales Marketing Customer Service Factory manager and Finance Key Result Areas
Excellent team management and stakeholder management skills
Managing efficient planning process for Imports and leading India S&OP process
Good communication skills to deal with and align with APAC planning team.
Must have good knowledge on the Imports.
Management reporting locally and globally depending upon the needs of the business.
Should be capable of negotiating the contracts for Insurance Transportation Warehouses Clearing agents and
Freight forwarders.
Conducting regular performance reviews of 3PL and other service providers
Adherence to GMP Guidelines ISO standards documentation and handling various internal and external audits.
Constant review of SCM business processes and improvise efficiency in line with guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for steering Monthly S&OP process facilitate decision making to obtain consensus on
forecasting/Demand numbers with sales and Marketing.
Conduct Monthly meetings with APAC Planning team for import of FG and instruments as per forecast estimates.
Coordinate with Global and Regional planning team to review and ensure the timely receipt of the planned
volume for India business.
Handling Demand Planning & Forecasting (long and short term) for India business
Monitor and report the critical changes in the forecast for the allocated product assortment and workout risk
assessments and mitigation activities.
Review and Guide planners for Supply planning and Distribution planning from factory and Mother warehouse to
spoke hubs.
Issue dispatch plans from Factory and Mother hub.
Prepare and align the production forecast with the factory Manager to ensure timely availability of stocks.
Handing efficient spare part management and optimization
Periodic review of the Safety stock norms and updating of SAP master data to ensure high service levels.
Monitor product expiration dates and shelf lives to reduce wastage or obsolescence
Ensure product availability across all the warehouses and maintain optimum stocks considering lead times.
Working with sales and Marketing team and driving the consumption of SLOB/ageing Inventory
Handling Domestic warehousing and last mile transportation.
Contributing and Execution of cross functional Projects. ERP(SAP):
Should have a sound knowledge of working in SAP.
MM Super user responsible for Master Data Governance efficient and reliable data management in SAP
Ensures the application of standard processes and ERP tool for Demand Planning and Forecasting
Automate stock replenishment through ERP systems or other tools to improve operational efficiency. Bachelor of Engineering /Degree in Supply Chain/BSc (post-graduation will be an
added advantage).
Knowledge of SAP is must along with Microsoft Excel and Power point.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work cross-functionally collaborate with internal & external stakeholders.
Must have exposure of working with Global Supply Chain scenarios for Imports
with longer lead time. 10 years of exp in handling WH operations transportation and RM stores.
