Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) for effective project planning and budgeting.
  
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, schedules, and project control plans.
  
• Support project funding, financial planning, and budget approval documentation.
  
• Configure and manage cost control systems, ensuring integration with accounting and procurement systems.
  
• Monitor project costs, earned value, progress, and performance against approved budgets and schedules.
  
• Prepare monthly cost reports, project forecasts, and financial performance updates.
  
• Implement and manage Cost Management of Change (CMOC) processes and budget revisions.
  
• Support project risk management, contingency planning, and cost assurance activities.
  
• Analyze project variances, identify cost risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Conduct project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for cost engineering processes.

Requisites

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  
• Strong knowledge of Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Cost Estimation, Planning, Scheduling, and Cost Forecasting.
  
• Experience in project budgeting, earned value management, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
  
• Understanding of capital project execution, project management systems, and project lifecycle management.
  
• Knowledge of Cost Management of Change (CMOC), risk assessment, and contingency planning.
  
• Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and cost control methodologies.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills.
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify cost variances and recommend solutions.
  
• Familiarity with industry cost engineering standards, best practices, and project reporting tools.
