We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing (SAP) to join one of our prestigious clients in Pune

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of PO and non-PO invoices accurately and in a timely manner within SAP
• Handle OCR/workflow exception resolution, ensuring invoices are correctly coded and routed for approval
• Review and resolve blocked invoices, discrepancies, and escalations from the BPO team
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local statutory requirements
• Support month-end close activities including accruals and AP reconciliations
• Liaise with procurement, business units, and vendors to resolve queries and ensure smooth transaction flow
• Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), preferably within a Shared Service Center environment
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) — essential for daily interaction with US-based stakeholders
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI module)
• Solid understanding of AP processes and core accounting principles
• Experience with OCR/workflow tools is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Additional language skills (Spanish and/or Portuguese) are a plus
