The Opportunity
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in tech journalism
Role: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Write and publish timely, accurate, and engaging tech news articles on a daily basis.
  

• Output of 4-5 articles daily (300~600 words per article, depending on the topic and format.)
  

• Achieve a monthly output of 90 articles across all formats.
  

• Cover breaking news across smartphones, gaming, GPUs, laptops, and consumer electronics.
  

• Monitor industry trends, product launches, leaks, and official announcements.
  

• Optimize articles for search engines using relevant keywords, metadata, and content structure.
  

• Verify facts, specifications, and claims using credible sources.
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in tech journalism or content writing.
  

• Strong understanding of consumer technology, especially smartphones, laptops, and PC components.
  

• Ability to write quickly without compromising accuracy or clarity.
  

• Ability to maintain neutral, non-promotional tone where required.
  

• Basic understanding of benchmarking, specifications, and performance metrics is a plus.
  

• Comfortable using CMS platforms.
  

• Ability to embed charts, reference sources, and format cleanly.
  

• Verify claims and avoid misinformation by properly researching sources.
  

• Basic SEO understanding:
  

• Keyword placement & density
  

• Meta descriptions
  

• Skimmable formatting
  

• Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible language.
  

Prefered Skills:

• Ability to have a quick turnover time for articles.
  

• Experience covering smartphones, laptops, gaming hardware, GPUs, and performance analysis.
  

• Ability to interpret and translate technical terms into reader-friendly content.
  

• Strong writing and content structuring skills.
