Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE) – Upwork (Night Shift)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) with 4+ years of experience in Upwork bidding and client acquisition. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Upwork, strong communication and proposal-writing skills, and a proven track record of generating quality leads and closing projects. This is a night shift position for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork.
• Write customized, persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team to provide accurate solutions.
• Negotiate project scope, timelines, and pricing with clients.
• Follow up with prospective clients to maximize conversion rates.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Monitor Upwork trends, competition, and best practices to improve bidding success.
• Ensure high client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Upwork business development.
• Proven experience in generating business through Upwork with successful project closures.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of IT services such as Web Development, Mobile App Development, AI, SaaS, UI/UX, Digital Marketing, or related technologies.
• Ability to work independently and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting.
• Experience working with international clients.
• Ability to identify emerging market opportunities and business trends.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
