Lodha Group - Lead Software Development Engineer - Frontend Architecture

Role & responsibilities:

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable front-end architecture for web applications - Dashboards / CMS development, deployment and monitoring phases.

- Evaluate requirements and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured development strategies.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend & QA teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

- Integrating APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.

- Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of CMS & web.

- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate development activities.

- Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Perform code reviews.

- Lead, mentor, manage and motivate front-end team members.

- Setting KPIs and other metrics to measure team performance.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Prior experience working on consumer-facing products.

- 5+ years of experience creating high-performance Dashboards / CMS / web applications using React.

- Passionate about frontend development and writing readable and efficient code.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivery high-quality results.

- Experience writing unit tests using Jest or React Testing Library.

- Solid understanding of API Integration.

- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

- Good knowledge of server side rendering using template engine.

- Experience working on website speed optimization.

- Familiarity with automated testing tools including Selenium, Jasmine, or Karma.

- Experience working on AWS or any other service provider.
