Automation Tester

Job Description :

- 6 years of proven experience in automated software testing, preferably in complex enterprise environments.

- Strong understanding of QA methodology, including test planning, test design, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement.

- Good experience in test automation, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.

- Hands-on experience in test automation development using Java 17, with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, Clean Code principles, and POJO-based design patterns for building readable and maintainable test code.

- Strong practical experience with the core Java API testing stack RESTAssured for HTTP-level testing, JUnit 5 for test lifecycle management and parameterization, and Lombok to reduce boilerplate in model and builder classes.

- Solid understanding of REST architecture (resources, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML payloads) and SOAP/WSDL contracts, with the ability to design tests that validate both protocol types thoroughly.

- Good hands-on experience in API testing, especially for REST and SOAP APIs, integration flows, backend services, and data distribution processes.

- Experience with test reporting tools, especially Allure, including attaching request/response evidence, categorizing failures, and producing clear test execution reports for stakeholders.

- Good experience in writing SQL queries and performing database testing, including data validation and verification of backend processes.

- Experience in testing integration solutions, including asynchronous flows, Kafka-based integrations, data pipelines, and event-driven architecture.

- Practical experience with test management and defect tracking tools, especially qTest and Jira.

- Strong Git skills, including branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development), pull request workflows, code review practices, and conflict resolution critical for effective collaboration in a team environment.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and/or Bamboo, including configuring and maintaining automated test execution jobs, pipeline stages, and test result publication.
