Head of Sports Tourism and Experiences

JSW Sports is looking for a Head of Sports Tourism and Experiences to join their team in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Business Development

• Lead the strategy, design, and launch of the Sports Tourism & Experiences vertical
• Identify and develop sports- and entertainment-led travel products including fan tours, athlete and celebrity experiences, training camps, concerts, festivals, and event-led travel packages
• Build partnerships with sports organizations, leagues, clubs, federations, travel operators, hospitality brands, entertainment companies and venue partners
• Evaluate and pursue new market opportunities across domestic and international markets
• Curate and develop sports IPs, entertainment properties, live experiences, and event-based offerings

Commercial & Revenue Development

• Design sustainable revenue models and pricing strategies
• Explore ticketing and ticket resale opportunities
• Structure partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial agreements
• Build a pipeline of premium experiences around major sporting events, entertainment events, academies, concerts, festivals, and athlete-led programs

Operations & Execution

• Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of sports, entertainment, and fan experiences
• Ensure operational excellence across hospitality, logistics, travel, and event management
• Establish scalable processes, vendor partnerships, and customer experience standards

Investment & Financial Oversight

• Develop financial models, budgets, and business plans for the vertical
• Evaluate feasibility, ROI, and commercial sustainability of new initiatives
• Own and manage P&L responsibilities

Team Building & Leadership

• Build and lead a cross-functional team across partnerships, operations, and marketing
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across sports, strategy, and commercial functions

Ideal Candidate:

• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience owning business outcomes and P&L responsibility
• Experience building or scaling consumer-facing businesses, premium travel experiences, hospitality ventures, or entertainment-led experiences
• Strong commercial instincts with experience in deal structuring, partnerships, and revenue development
• Ability to build a vertical from scratch
• Background in sports, entertainment, hospitality, travel, events, experiential businesses or investment banking
• Strong network within the sports and entertainment ecosystem is a plus
