EHS Officer

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards
• Implement measures to mitigate risks and improve overall safety
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for workforce
• Promote awareness and understanding of EHS practices and principles
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes
• Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS regulations
• Maintain records of EHS activities and compliance status
• Monitor environmental aspects such as waste management, air quality, and water quality
• Develop and implement emergency response plans
• Conduct drills and ensure readiness for potential emergencies
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS
