Role- solar fitter

Solar rooftop power plant installation
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Fitter to join our team, responsible for the installation and assembly of solar rooftop power plants. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe deployment of solar energy systems, contributing to sustainable energy solutions. The Solar Fitter will work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality installations that meet technical specifications and safety standards. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy infrastructure and support the transition to clean, reliable power.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and assemble solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops according to design specifications
  • Secure mounting structures, solar panels, and electrical components with precision and safety
  • Perform wiring, grounding, and connection of solar arrays in compliance with electrical codes and standards
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare work areas for installation
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality benchmarks are met
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe and organized condition


Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in solar rooftop installation or related field
  • Familiarity with solar panel mounting systems, wiring, and electrical safety protocols
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and reading technical drawings
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, first aid) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and commitment to safety standards
