Manager Marketplace Business

Job Description:

As the Manager – Marketplace Business (India), you will own the end-to-end business for Styli across assigned marketplace channels. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, and operational excellence while working cross-functionally with internal teams and external marketplace partners.

This is a high-impact business ownership role requiring a strong commercial mindset, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

1.Marketplace Business Ownership

• Own the P&L and overall business performance for assigned marketplace channels.
• Develop and execute marketplace growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key marketplace partners.

2.Commercial Trading & Growth

• Drive revenue, profitability, and sustainable business growth across marketplace channels.
• Own pricing decisions and promotional strategies to maximize growth while protecting margins.
• Monitor business performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions using data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with marketplace partners on campaigns, visibility, and commercial initiatives.

3.Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Buying, Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless marketplace execution.
• Align internal stakeholders on assortment launches, inventory availability, pricing, promotions, and operational priorities.
• Drive execution excellence across functions to deliver business objectives.

Qualification and Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in marketplace or e-commerce business management.
• Experience managing leading marketplaces such as Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion, or similar fashion marketplaces, or experience within fashion brands.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
