QC - Incharge (Civil)

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QC - Incharge (Civil) to lead our quality control efforts on civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering and extensive experience in quality assurance processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure that all projects meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality inspections on civil construction projects to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation and reports for all construction activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to implement quality assurance processes.
• Identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays.
• Conduct tests and evaluations on materials used in construction to ensure they meet required standards.
• Train site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss quality performance and improvement areas.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3-13 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the civil engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and legal regulations.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software for inspections and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
