Position Summary The Sunflower Oil Refinery Manager oversees the entire refining process of sunflower oil, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, compliance with safety standards and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in edible oil processing and the ability to manage teams and operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities - Operations Management: Supervise daily refinery operations, including degumming, neutralization, bleaching and deodorization processes. - Quality Assurance: Ensure refined oil meets regulatory standards and customer specifications through rigorous testing and monitoring. - Team Leadership: Manage engineers, technicians, and operators; provide training and performance evaluations. - Process Optimization: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce waste and lower energy consumption. - Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and food safety regulations. - Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics and sales teams to align production with demand. - Budget & Reporting: Prepare operational budgets, monitor costs and generate performance reports for senior management. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or related field. - 8–12 years of experience in edible oil refining, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. - Strong knowledge of refining technologies, quality standards and safety regulations. - Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in production management software and data analysis tools.
